2010 Top Summer Ball Performers

I will not make this list the top 200 players, simply due to my work schedule and I don't have time right now.  I will keep adding to this list, but it will probably not reach 200 players.



One of the big projects I have planned for this blog is to produce a list of the top summer league performers from the 2010 summer season.  Little did I know what I got myself into.

 This ranking is NOT in order (where the last or #1 player is the best).

I am in no way a scout. I leave the scouting to the fine folks at Perfect Game. This list is NOT a list of the top prospects or of the prospects with the highest draft stock. I want to solely focus on the players individual summer league performance, regardless of what league they are in or what school they attend.

I am also a firm believer that there is more to summer ball than the Cape Cod League, so my plan is to have at least one player from all the major summer leagues represented. For a complete list of the summer leagues that will be represented, visit this site. But, I do believe that the bigger, more established leagues will be very well represented.

I do have the list more or less finalized, but I'm always open to suggestions. I'm hoping that this list will spark a healthy debate.

I plan to start posting sometime next week. I do not plan to post more than 2 top performers per day, and I usually don't post on the weekends. Please remember that this will just be a master list, and is not in order of their performance.
