Hannibal, MO —It’s never too soon to think about baseball season.
The Hannibal Cavemen, a Prospect League baseball team, announced its roster on Wednesday, Jan. 25.
Four players will be returning to Hannibal, a squad that finished at a franchise best 30-26.

Hannibal has improved its record each year in its three-year existence.
AJ Martin, the team’s closer, is one of the returning players. Martin went 5-2 with a 2.64 ERA, eight saves and was tied for a team-high in wins.
Trey Lang will also be back. Lang led the Prospect League in outfield assits and hit .254 with three home runs, 24 RBI and 10 stolen bases.
