Four Questions With Erik Schoenrock

Erik Schoenrock is a sophomore left-hander from the University of Memphis. He is 6-3/200 pounds and he hails from Collierville, TN. He spent this past summer pitching for the La Crosse Loggers of the Northwoods League.  He went 7-3 and had a respectable 4.02 era in 56 innings of work. He allowed 48 hits and fanned 60 this summer.

Summer Ball--Who was your favorite baseball player when you were younger?
Erik Schoenrock--Chipper Jones

SB--What were some of the best things about playing for the Loggers this summer?
ES--The huge home crowds and their knowledge, passion and support of our team. I also became good friends with guys that are from all over the country.

SB--What are your personal goals for this upcoming season?
ES--Team: win a Conference USA championship.......Individual: stay healthy and consistent, and have at least 85 innings pitched.

SB--What is your favorite baseball movie?
ES--The Sandlot
