Brock Stevens Accepts Head Coach Position in the Beach League

The Beach League is proud to announce that Brock Stevens has accepted the Head Coach position of the Myrtle Beach Hammerheads. "I am very excited to be a part of the first season in the Beach League," said Stevens. "I am looking forward to working with some of the top baseball players college baseball has to offer."

Coach Stevens is currently an Assistant Coach for Potomac State College, which is preseason ranked #4 in the country for Division 1 Junior Colleges. Coach Stevens played for Cleveland State University before transferring to Potomac State for the 2007 and 2008 seasons.

As a member of the Potomac State baseball program, Stevens started both years at second base. He registered a .326 lifetime batting average (89-for-273), tallied 58 RBIs and scored 70 runs. He also tacked on 22 career doubles. He helped Potomac State to a Region XX Title and an Eastern District Runner-up in 2007. For his accomplishments during the 2008 season, he was named as a 2nd-team member of the All-Region XX team.
