2012 Signing--Connor Barron

One of the many benefits of watching a Cape Cod League game is that you get the chance to see quite a few top-notch MLB draft picks play. This summer, the Bourne Braves will welcome a 2011 3rd round MLB draftee in Connor Barron. He is 6-1/175 pounds and he hails from Mississippi. He spurned a lucrative signing bonus from the Marlins to attend Southern Mississippi.  He is said to be a great defensive infielder and should be a star for the Braves this summer.
