Comerota Signs With Clovis

In keeping with the theme of former Texas Collegiate League players signing elsewhere, Jimmy Comerota (Rice) has signed on to play for the Clovis Outlaws of the California Collegiate Baseball League. Jimmy is a red-shirt sophomore from Missouri City, TX. He is currently batting .285, with 39 runs scored and 22 runs batted in. He has also stolen 11 bases this season. In 2006, Jimmy played for the Weatherford Wranglers, and in 07, he was a member of the Duncanville Deputies squad.
